C.K. Stellaroc grew up with strong conservative values that shaped his character, convictions, and leadership. His career in education led him to become a school district superintendent, where he devoted himself to serving students, families, and communities. Over time, he watched common sense give way to what he calls “uncommon sense,” a shift that deeply impacted his perspective on modern education and society.
While advancing his career, Stellaroc pursued a Doctorate at Arkansas State University, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA halfway through the program. But the further he progressed, the more he recognized the program for what he believed it truly was—indoctrination rather than education. Choosing principle over prestige, he made the bold decision to walk away. His conviction was clear: if a school district required that degree to validate his ability to lead, it wasn’t a district where he wanted to serve.
Shortly after leaving the program, Stellaroc wrote this book. At the time, he sensed the message was important but not yet timely. He set it aside, waiting for the right moment. Today, with the cultural pendulum beginning to swing back toward reason and truth, he felt a sense of duty to finish what he started.
His hope is simple yet profound: that children will enjoy the story, and parents will find in its pages a way to speak plain truth to their kids once again.
